Where it comes from

Vernier is an original house design. The idea: a warm serif body, but with section labels set in a monospaced “instrument” face over fine hairline rules, a small, distinctive detail that makes it stand out without breaking anything a parser needs.

It's for people who want their résumé to look considered and a little different while staying strictly single-column and machine-readable.

Original house design. Drawn from scratch for Resumodel, with no upstream template, and free to use under the builder’s terms.

How it parses

The distinctive touches are cosmetic. It's a single column of selectable text underneath, so it parses like any plain résumé while looking less generic.

Frequently asked questions

Is Vernier ATS-safe even though it looks distinctive?

Yes. The monospaced labels and hairlines are just styling on a single-column, text-only layout, and parsers still read every field in order.
